Biome change due to Peer1 crash.

Expect ice to form where it wasn't before and lag for a few days.
 
The great biome shift. thats what i call the event when i mention it. surprised it JUST got a page on the forum, it happened a couple of
weeks ago. maybe last month.
 
Uhh peer1 needs moar redundancy systems... if jangles was running a company on those servers and it went down and he lost money couldnt he sue :O . Or do they have some thing in their contract that says they will crash time to time.
 
Oh, So the Peer1 server crashed RECENTLY. sorry , but ice forming over lakes has been happening for a while now.
 
Bah! All you youngens never knew the harsh winters we had in the north of Downtown in the year of 1.5.

Peer1's service level agreement is 100% and they have the highest availability in the country. There should have been redundancy on the switch but who knows what the story is, likely human error. I'm running a few more servers at peer1 for work and they've never gone down like this, 3 years counting. If it did go down, I would never sue! They got the service back as fast they could and I appreciate their hard work in recovering the issue. But it better not happen again!
 
I was wondering why a lake I was standing at was freezing in front of my eyes.
 
The seed has been reverted. Any ice that formed on your land in the past day should not respawn if you break/melt it.
