Howdy all. I am in the middle of building another level on my Pillar of Autumn and in this level there will be pelican ships. I am making this contest so that I can have you guys build your own custom pelican that may be inside the Pillar of Autumn. The contest plot is not ready yet but I am taking applications now for those who want to enter. Before the contest begins i will have all contestants TP to me at the plot so they may set a PW. When the grounds are ready I will add all participants to the plot and announce that it is started. At that time I will also post the deadline for the contest. Now for the contest I will take as many contestants that want to build. The main prizes though will be only for the top 6 (that will be chosen by me). The prizes are as follows.
1st: 3000 Caps + A Beacon + A Spot On The Pillar Of Autumn
2nd: 2500 Caps + 1 Emerald Ore + A Spot On The Pillar Of Autumn
3rd: 2000 Caps + 1 Emerald Ore + A Spot On The Pillar Of Autumn
4th: 2000 Caps + 1 Diamond Ore + A Spot On The Pillar Of Autumn
5th: 1500 Caps + 1 Diamond Ore + A Spot On The Pillar Of Autumn
6th: 1000 Caps + 1 Diamond Ore + A Spot On The Pillar Of Autumn
All others who do not place in 1-6 will get a 500 cap consolation prize. All building blocks will be provided by yourself but when the contest is over you will be able to recover them. Everyone will have the same base pelican that you will replace blocks with to make a one of a kind ship. The base lines look like this so that you can have a general idea on what you will be building.

so far we have a possible 5 people in the contest. when i get 6 entries i will post a start date for contest (with a few days of 6 entry joining) and then from there i will allow any late joiners to enter but they will have the same dead line date.
 
I have an idea for one, I am in! May as well be but might be expensive!
 
Now I feel even sillier. More silly? This will teach me to not try to read before I finish my first cup of coffee! (I was looking at the join date). Ok, I don't feel silly. I feel ridiculous! LOL!
 
Hehe no problem there Liana :) Yes if you looked at some of our join dates I can see why you were confused! Well now that is sorted lets get designing!
 
alright. there are now 6-7 people in the ocntest (unsure 100% about ghwvgirl but she has her own pelican marked as well.) i will be in game later today to accept tp's to the plot so you may set a pw. after all pw's have been set i will then add all members to the plot and the building will commence. if i am not on and you have not set a pw yet, if mk happens to be on you may beable to tp to him (as long as he is ok with that) as one of his plots is right beside my own.
 
The contest will now start. The end date for this contest will be the 29th of August (or earlier depending on the rate of which people join and if everyone is completed to their satisfaction). The rules are simple.
No griefing other pelican builds. Simple as that. Also please don't mine the plot.
Now as for guidelines on the builds themselves, you are aloud to modify the pelican but try to keep it inside its preset area. Now with that said, Happy Building!
