Weather would be cool, although I hope it isn't as unpredictable as that. The achievements will be fun, and I can't wait to see how far I've walked XD.

About the stats, there will be stats on servers, the only warning Notch said that server admins will be able to tamper with it making somewhat un-real.

It will not rain like every 5 seconds, and if you hate it that much, replace the current weather .png images in the jar with transparent ones. Easy as that.

I thought it looked pretty cool.
They are making the weather conditions more random so it won't be as often.
I hate the look of rain though, snow and lightning is just brilliant.

The weather looks terrible to have to deal with. The achievements and statistics look AMAZING. If they are gonna be in MA, that would be even better, because i don't play single player that much.

in the final version it will be much more rare

Just a quick video to show off the stuff coming in 1.5. Rain and especially thunder is waaay too common in this test, for demo purposes.
