For old times sake we have archived the forums to keep bot spam down and keep the original history of the server archived for future players to browse. We have moved to discord now for a closer community feel. If the server gains a ton more players again like the past the forums will reopen with the original sections archived and locked.

im just wondering that if donate, what do you guys use the donated money on?
 
ALL money donated to Minecraft Addicts is used to pay for the server each month.
If we raise over the target amount it will be added to the next months target.

From the donation page:
Game servers are expensive!
Every month we have a goal of reaching $500 to help support the high costs of running a high performance gaming environment. We're also running a Voice server, 6.99/month, as well as a web server that costs $125/month. The total costs for running Minecraft Addicts is over $500 every month, not including the hours of volunteer work from our great staff.

The donated money goes towards the cost of the server. The total bill for it is around 500 dollars a month.

Plus you get the good feeling of supporting your home server and knowing that you are contributing to your community. :)
 
The exact figures count in around 500$ the server, site, ventrilo, and any extras are all provided in this ammount. Donations are accepted through paypal. Ill be donateing quite a bit this month when my check comes in

We should all definitely donate more often, (mainly those that are using the server alot and have yet to donate) please please help keep this wonderful community and environment going!! ;) Im off to donate right now! cya around
 
I've had a crap couple of weeks. My only working comp is on its last legs to the point I can't even run MC. The economy and jobs are going belly up and certain accounts need to be rectified. I've always desired to donate here because everyone here has made this placemy second home. I was supposed to donate this month but Paypal have gone and messed things up even more for me.

Got a call from an apprenticeship firm. Hopefully I get in and I can start putting in towards the bill.
