F11 - Fullscreen

Hey guys. Got my new computer fixed this weekend, an Intel I7 with Nvidea GTX 560 card. Now minecraft ran fine on it to begin with but had issues with Skyrim (Computer rebooting itself everytime i left the game). This was solved by reinstalling the graphics drivers for my card. However, this seems to have effected minecraft in some way. When i press F11 to get fullscreen, it instead gives me a black screen and freezes. Ive reinstalled Java 64bit and even deleted my .jar file and gone for a clean mincraft install. it runs fine on small screen and even when i use the windowed Restore Down button to get an almost fullscreen. Any Ideas?
 
Do you have the latest drivers, from NVIDIA's site?

When I want it to be full screen, I just double click the top bar, or click the maximize.
 
Interesting problem, does it persist when using a render distance other than Far and with Fancy graphics turned off?
 
Hmmm try optifine, I have heard It patches graphic card issues with minecraft but no sure if I have heard of this one. Worth a try
