Fire Spread for PvE and PvP

I would think it would be a great addition to add fire spread to PvE and PvP.
 
I think it would be a horrible idea. I also think we know who would be the first to abuse it so much that it possibly lags/crashes the server.
 
Since fire spread was nerfed in 1.6, so that it doesn't spread infinitely, I'm not so sure there can be much of a concern over potential lag.
 
If this was enabled someone who has been annoyed by anyone might plant a huge forest and I would guess that would cause crashes, client or server.

Even with the nerfed spreading have you seen what happens to forests?
 
Sadly, I think Godspeedz is right. There will be people who will abuse such abilities and cause the server to lag. Same thing with the XP orbs.
