Clearly they are mad... But not in the sense of angry, if you catch my drift. :P


Anyway, no funny vids or pics from me, just a funny story from my time working at a gas station.

So, while working night shift, I had some random drunk teenager come into the store and try to sleep on the floor. As per my job, I told him you can't sleep here, and he protested, but I politely argued no, yadah yadah yadah, onto the cool part. I ended up talking to him for a good 20 minutes, then he eventually mentioned that he had court in the morning and had no place to sleep since he was kicked out of his place by his GF; at which point he asked me the strangest question I had ever been asked in my life: "Will you call the cops on me?" I couldn't help but ask him "WTF?!" He said: "I know, it's a really weird question, but if they arrest me, I'll have a place to sleep, and they'll even bring me to court in the morning; just tell them I'm loitering or something..." So I did.

Now for the better part: the cops got there 12 minutes later, and imediately started questioning him, they asked me to stay inside the store while they 'handled their police business', so I cracked the window open to listen. Anyway, there was an older male cop about late 30s to early 40s questioning the kid, and a fairly hot mid 20s female cop taking notes. So as he was being questioned, I couldn't hear much of what the cop was saying, but the kid was just swearing left and right, trying to antagonize the officer, then finally the girl cop steps out the car, and I guess she played on the other guy's altruism, because they let the kid go, and just told him to leave. They came in and told me that if he came back, to just call them back and that they'll "be a little more forceful".

Not 20 minutes later, the kid came back; fisrt thing I heard out of him was "Man! I've never met such nice cops. Call them back" So I did. 3 minutes later: The cops came back; this time with a third, older lady cop, maybe mid to later 40s, early 50s at the most, but I doubt that. Anyway, they're standing right in front of the store window this time, I can hear everything. The cop car is parked right in front of the window, the kid is leaned against it facing the store, the older lady cop was off to his right, and the guy was right in front, between me and the kid; the young girl cop was still in her car taking notes. So this time, the guy cop is being a little more blunt with the kid, basically telling him he's a moron in as rude of a manner as polite 'politically correct' legal talk gets in Canada, and the kid was still mouthing off as usual. This went on for a good five or six minutes, with the older lady cop helping out with the banter as necessary; anyway, eventually the lady cop says to the other guy cop "It's obvious he's just trying to get arrested, just let him go, we've got better things to deal with..." Right after that, the kid slapped her, and without hesitation the guy cop pinned him against the car and then trew him in the back. Meanwhile I was just laughing histerically... So yeah, that's pretty much my story, funniest/weirdest thing to ever happen at a gas station so far as I'm concerned...


EDIT: Haven't heard from the kid since...
