Furnace protection is being buggy

I've noticed with bloodshothippy's furnaces (we were building together so I was opening one of his to get smoothstone for the building) they become unlocked when things are smelting. I asked him if he had unlocked them, and he said no. He checked the protection and it said private. When there was nothing in the furnace it became locked again. I also noticed this with Madeinchina69's furnace.

This kinda defeats the purpose of furnace protection... I suspect this is an lwc thing.

well if you look at it a furnace can have 2 names
furnace and furnace-melting or something like that
maybe it threads a smelting furnace as a totally different block then a "regular" furnace

this is probably whats happening

personally i think lwc should only be usable on chests

Hmm... so maybe locking furnaces while they're running would fix this.

I am right behind you on that, lwc is for chest protection. The rest is pretty much useless.

Yeah furnace locking is arguably kinda futile as the only time they have stuff in is when they're smelting (and if that's the case you'll be nearby to report any griefs anyway.

The only other time is if you forget to remove stuff but again unless you're really forgetful its not a massive issue

having buttons, doors, and trap doors lock automatically can also be a pain when your trying to have someone test something

I think that all these things (besides chests) shouldn't be locked by default, but I do think that we should at least be able to lock them ourselves.
