So as some of you might have known I recently got my self a new build.

got all the parts last week and have been pretty happy with it.

yesterday it dint turn on.

the motherboard I got had a led that was red and indicated that ider the CPU or the motherboard had crapped out.

thought no one online could be 100% sure that it was the cpu and not the motherboard.

having another 2 days return on the items I took it all down (not a fun thing to do) and the store gave me cash for all the parts. I dint get exacly the same parts just in case.

just to let every one know that I will be working on our plans this weekend. but things might be a little late cause I'm still testing the new board.

btw for those that want to know the motherboard was a Asus P8P67 PRO and I exchanged it for a Asus P8P67 DELUXE, its only a extra $30, and now I get a LED display on the board that will show me exacly what the problems in the future might be. (let hope there isent any)

That sucks. Luckily you still had the return thing on it. I've always heard good things about Asus too.

silly asus.. yea i havent had problems with their motherboards yet.. but im starting to use gigabit more often.

Great news that you still had the return.
I have had quite a few problems in the past with Asus boards and am now using EVGA.
Hope nothing else happens :)

glad youre all sorted now dude my old asus motherboard was an absolute nightmare from day 1

woke up this morning, can't believe what I saw. A hundred million bottles, washed up on the shooooreeeeee

i use an asus montherboard, and monitor i hope i dont have the same luck as you lofp

Just like humans, failure of computer components is more likely early or late in life. :)
