Heavy latency

As some of you are aware that I'm experiencing heavy latency when playing. It can improve at random but eventually creeps up. Though I play a lot of other online games and the connection from them seems fine.

As the status pic tells me, the ping usually hangs around the 250 - 600 mark. Anyone who knows internets knows that is close to dial-up.

With the status image can we post what pings you get from it or do I need to find an alternate solution to an ache in my already battered pickaxe?

Kick everybody else on the internet off, and stop downloading.

1 - I'm the only one who actually uses the internet in this home. I also don't think I'm as plank as to download whilst playing online games.

2 - I actually forgot to do that (Leatrix Latency) for this machine... But to no avail. Now the PNG suggests I'm getting 1.3k Ping! xD

Better not worry ourselves about it. It's been reported as a common problem. The problem now is how to fix it without properly knowing the cause. Link

I'm getting the same issue, It's giving me a ping of 700ms
