Hello, my name as you can see is para57. I'm actually somewhat new to minecraft but I am really excited to become a much better builder and be part of a friendly, safe, and creative community.

A bit about me: I am currently attending a medical school and in my second year of basic sciences. Since I'm in med school, I wont be on here nearly as much as I might like ;) (At least, I shouldn't be.) I want to use minecraft for a few reasons: as an escape and as a creative release. Also, I have shared minecraft with my fiancee and I would like to have a place where we can share some land between us and safely and creatively build. We're currently in a long-distance-engagement, I'm away for med school and she's back at home with a job. We get married in May! Minecraft will be something different for us other than Skype that we can share. That's what I'm truly excited about!

Outside of building between the two of us, I also want to join the server to be part of larger scale projects by helping others out! (If that happens often, if not, that's cool too.)

I think I've shared quite a bit here. If you wanna know more about me, just ask!

Congratulations on your engagement! And welcome to the server. I think you will like the community; and in fact, we have a few couples playing here too.
 
Welcome to the server. Myself and msfluffy play here almost daily if not weekly. We have plenty of stuff going on here in terms of large scale projects it just depends on your preference of building. Complex types or simple repetitive tasks.

So yea have fun. Relax and enjoy the community. If you want vent has been quiet lately if you choose vent is a voice communications program where you talk with other players if you so choose. Lately its been empty but if you wanna talk someones usually in there at night.
 
St. George's University in Grenada (hence the long-distance.) So yea, its an international med school :) Don't let any stereotypes of the "international" issue get to you (especially with my school.) I would gladly have a nice chat behind the politics of it all if you wanted :)
 
Study : )

First two years: basic sciences second 2 years: Clinical rotations in the US

Right now: Studying pathology, microbiology, a small nutrition course and learning some clinical skills. Although that doesn't look like much, it's a very exhausting schedule.
