Hey there. I would like to know about our currency, for an example what is the value of caps? I need to know this so when I sell I'm not asking for outrageous prices or ripping myself off.

For an example would 5 caps get you very far? and would 50 caps be considered rich?

I'm sorry that this seems confusing!! Help would be appreciated.
 
50 caps is not rich. Some people on here have well over 10k (someone has around 60k). Once the shop plugin is back, you can see a list of everything and their price.
 
there is an in-game shop (down atm) here is a few prices that I remember
dirt, cobble : .01caps sell .03caps buy
diamond block : 90caps sell 100caps buy
 
All im gonna say is make a tree farm and sell some wood.
 
You can sell wood? Dang it! What have I been doing all this time, not harvesting my gigantic tree farm?
