Hey guys it is me freeloader1969 i have not been on for a bit because i have to roll back still (will do that tonight)

Anyway on to the thing at hand i was thinking of building a Pokemon town maybe pallet because i have to cramming in all the old episodes and i was thinking why not build a Pokemon gym and town for this server but since the server does not have the Pokemon mod so i was thinking of build wool art of the Pokemon for the gym and making it so that it has a special feel likea rock gym would have a maze of rocks where a water gym would have something to do with water. So i was thinking why not let you guys know who knows maybe there are some other Pokemon fans on the server:cool::cool:

Happens sometimes if you get a little lag.
I'm sure he didn't mean it.

Also it sounds like a pretty cool idea, you should definitely give it a shot.
Draw up a few plans in MCEdit or something, probably easier to go into 1.8 creative mode and play around a little.

No problem, sometimes doing something as simple as hitting refresh can lead to a double post, I've deleted the other thread to avoid confusion. As for the idea, as alien said it sounds pretty cool, give it a shot and good luck
 
pokemon gyms

well i am cramming in all the old pokemon episodes for inspiration does anybody have any ideas :confused::confused::cool::cool::cool:
 
That's a great idea. I have a plot in mind too if you want. It's just north of mine in Parkway, I was gonna expand there but I don't really need to. The only thing is, maybe do a different town first, since Androcks already has a town called Pallet Town. If this project gets support, maybe then consider talking to him and seeing if he'll change his town's name to avoid confusion.

Also, try going by FireRed/Leafgreen's towns for the layout.

i have never played fire red or leafgreen
 
Just Had a thought that may or may not help with the planning stage of things but if you need reference images, grab a free gameboy colour emulator for your pc (haven't used any myself so I'm afraid I cant recommend a specific one) then download a rom of one of the first gen games (red, blue or yellow) the reason I suggest these over the newer games is that the images use fewer colours and are less detailed than the newer games so will be easier to reproduce in the blocky world of minecraft. Then you could simply take a screenshot and work off it to give you a rough outline before you add details.

Just a quick idea anyway, hope this helps

i just got a emulator today will do that thanks for the advice also would any of you want to help me with it on the server
