How could we generate interest in the server?

Staff have been given the option to stream on twitch but there doesn't seem to be any biters yet.

Factions is also definitely feasible, just not joined to build. Potentially using a hub system so players can switch servers without knowing as such (it has been discussed before).
 
How about better advertising the fact that we literally have kept our old maps and builds.
What you build stays. for good.

That's true. It is a good perk about Minecraft Addicts that we should definetly advertise.
 
So to bring this discussion back up, what if we did a video series to showcase the builds on the sever? I know MCA Tours were a thing for a little while but only a few videos were ever published. I don't know if anyone remembers Godcraft but when that server was still running they built up a pretty big following just by showing off their server on YouTube; that could be a really good way to advertise for us.
 
Thanks for the idea Michaelavena, staff has talked a number of times about this style of video, and how it would be a good fit with our server. The challenge seems to be to find someone who has two things: a computer good enough to make decent quality videos, and the time and skills to actually shoot all the material and edit a video.

I would welcome anyone to submit a video showcasing builds on our server, staff can look it over and decide if it's got the quality level for our channel.
 
We could make new spawn secrets, and the first people to find each gets a special prize (perks, caps, diamonds, etc)... idk, just trying to contribute to the conversation :P
 
I agree!!! New Secrets, or maybe give caps award for finding them.

Most things that are appreciated take a lot of work ;)

This being said Ive barely scratched the surface with the ones we already got, even still
it would be fun to have new ones and new starting points.
 
maybe a group effort (like that time maple took over trying to find them all out) to solve them, THEN we make new ones for the new staff?

I think this is a good idea. I've been working really hard on these and I would love to at least wait till I find 'em all and work with everybody to finally solve it.


... maybe the people to figure out how to get through that room all get to make secret rooms for the next batch of secrets...?
