How doi get in to IRC?

i try to use the IRC, but it never lets me in.

i tried using auth. to servises, and put in my username and password for my acount here at mca.

But it nevers shows any of the messages i sent to them, instead saying, message not sent or something.

How can i use IRC?

I think it has something to do with it not findign my username in a daabase or something, if thats the case, how to i get my user name in to this database?

.... we dont own the IRC servers you need to register with freenode.
