How Period boats should look like :P

I know it is hard to make a boat on mc but although all I have seen look good none of them really appeared how I have seen and/or imagined them.

For example I like the big warships of around the 18th century like these:

If anyone wants to look at more ship plans I found them on the national maritime museum on-line.
And I personally searched for key words 'gun' (to get all the larger ships with cannons) and on the ship plan sections. There is 990 of them, enjoy!

I love creating accurate models in MineCraft but it's difficult to get down to the fine details when you're limited with height and the size of blocks. I really wish we had more resources int he way of 1/4 blocks and 1/2 blocks to create more details. I guess that's all part of the challenge though right?

Ok I think I have chosen the boat I just need to pick the scale as I might to it bigger than our characters so I can add more detail!

It is a 32 gun, 3rd rate, 2 decker (this is the number with cannons I think)
