Hey guys, just wanna let you know that my internet has been horrible lately.You may see me join for 5 seconds just to leave because my minecraft lags out evrytime :/

First of all does anyone know what the problem might be because we do have the best internet out there, but only on minecraft it fails and goes really slow. Secondly please spread the word on the server if someone asks why i just suddenly leave :(

i had a similar problem lately, and solved it by reinstalling Java. it was a slightly more up to date version, but i have no idea how this would effect my connection. But, its working fine now.
 
If that doesnt help, try opening a port on your router. could be a firewall problem, too.
 
If you have somone on your router that is torrenting something... like a sibling. Open up your router and block em until they complain about it. Thats definitely the way to go!
 
do you have a 64 bit operating system? if so, do you have 64 bit java?
