Hi everyone.
I'm sure most of you have seen I've not been online as much and many may have wondered if I can finish any of my projets (3 of them). Yes, I actually can... If I could run MC well.
The machine I'm running on currently is the only machine I have. It's a single core P4 2.6 Ghz desktop machine which is roughly 6 years old. It is literally delapidating as I speak with a lost heatsink and other parts looking disjointed. I've tinkeredwith stuff, tried and fried a few graphics cards in the process but nothing has worked.I did have a lappy which SHOULD HAVE lasted but MC, paired with another java game (probably the latter), borked a RAM slot on it and later made it into a flat, flexible and shiny paperweight. Now it is getting a sun tan and dealing with dust issues somewhere in Ghana.
Sure, the desktop still runs, but it runs MC horribly. I have to restart the client after about 20 mins of play. Since I like to have large constructs it never boads well especially when the settings are down to the minimum. It's forced me to stop playing until I get another machine.
I really miss you guys. I actually want to have some wholesome interaction when PVP is run amuck. Hunt creepers down and escavate caves of wonder. (If anyone actually knows I steer clear of PVP since I suck at it, petrified of any mob in survival and caves are the last thing I want to be in BUT you get what I mean.
)
I've had pleanty of discussion on vent with some members here and have greatly helped in a spec for a new machine... Now to save for it!
