Inventory Mess Up

I had a mess up with my inventory. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem. My inventory reverted back to whenever the server last saved. But my chests are still the same. I lost about six sand, 1 iron pickax, 1 iron axe and 1 iron shovel. Is there any way you could fix my inventory? I'm not sure if anyone has reported the same problem though. Thanks for your time.
 
That sounds like an odd one. Was it while the server was being rebooted by any chance?

I'm not sure if you knew or not, but if you type '/kit tools' into the chat, you get diamond tools. :)
 
Thanks, the tools were the only good things I lost, so that fixes it. Everything else was just common material.
