java.io.UTFDataFormatException: malformed input error (1.2 update)

Is anyone else getting this error, after today's 1.2 update? java.io.UTFDataFormatException: malformed input around byte (then shows a number but keeps changing)

oops ! seems like I should have read the Minecraft Beta Update - v1.2 topic first ! fix is to replace files in the .minecraft bin folder... mods can delete if they like :p
