For old times sake we have archived the forums to keep bot spam down and keep the original history of the server archived for future players to browse. We have moved to discord now for a closer community feel. If the server gains a ton more players again like the past the forums will reopen with the original sections archived and locked.

I have tried logging in many times, but i get the error "Connection Timed Out". Also, in the Statistics section of the site, it says that i am on the server. I am quite sure my account wasn't hijacked, so i dont think that is why the site thinks im on the server. Does anyone know why i cant login? Btw its not my internet connection, i have 25Mbps bandwith (according to speedtest.net).

EDIT: I just got online, MrJangles must have fixed it

same here except the being online part, is the server down or something like that?
 
Trouble Logging In

I just pinged the server and there was no response. So it must be down currently.:mad:
 
only server.minecraftaddicts.com works to attempt to login for me not 209.15.266.181
 
Wow, I had no notifcation this was down. I can't connect to the actual server so something is up. I'm on it.

I'll have better monitoring in place to make sure this doesn't go unnoticed again.
 
I'm still getting kicked/bad lag after the server came back up. Anyone else having this issue or only me?

I keep getting the errors
internal exception: Java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 40
internal exception: Java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 127

I'm using the .jar that Jangles posted

Sometimes the world loads up for 1 second and then I get the error.
 
We are back to the normal minecraft release. You can delete the minecraft.jar in your directory and on the next load it should download the latest automatically. Backup the .minecraft folder beforehand just in case something bad happen.
