I, like many people who sit on a computer for a living am getting bad circulation when I sit down for hours and hours. This is pretty random but found a cool set of instructions to make a "standing up desk" . http://iamnotaprogrammer.com/Ikea-Standing-desk-for-22-dollars.html So i went to ikea and got everything a few days ago. YOu feel lightheaded on the first day but it gets better and it REALLY helps me focus too. Many people are getting these kinds of desks and they cost alot so I just thought id share this cool thing. I have also never been to ikea and i have to say being there got me more excited than being in a computer store hehe. But anyway, If you dont mind a change in your workspace the standing up all day is really nice.

Or you could get an ergo chair and sit on your knees. Standing desks can lead to other problems like suddenly blacking out (having your knees locked for so long = blackout).

Speedz has a point. I have seen some really cool desks that are motor powered that allow the height to be adjusted, but those do not come cheap.

Though, a standing desk it a neat idea.

Id take the standing desk, but i wouldnt stand. Id get a hammock :)

I gotta remind myself not to read godspeedz posts. HIs health knowlege can sometimes scare you.

Or you can get a velcro wall behind your computer desk and play in any position you can think of

*Sigh* I give up on these attachments

Fixed it for you. It has to be a direct link to the image, so when showing images from google, make sure you view the full size image before copying the url.

I'm feeling really light headed right now, and I'm sitting down, white spirit used to clean my desk hasn't exactly gone away despite having the window open all day =/

Speaking of stand-up desks, we have an option at work to have it but they don't advertise it. Adjustable fancy standup desks. One guy in the building is doing it and said the first two weeks are hell, but he's going atleast 6 months strong now. I considererd it and almost did it... No thanks, but good idea.

I've been on one of those Velcro walls before, they are totally insane! The one I was on had a trampoline and you could do flips and shit and try to end up upside down. They are too much fun.

My point exactly :) If you feel like a bit of mirrors edge or assassin's creed, you know where to go. And also, this coupled with the kinect = endless fun
