The Computers originally had Windows 7 but they downgraded to Windows XP SP2. Not sure why, but IE6 is the biggest piece of crap.
 
This is a public school eh? Yea its bound to happen like this. Its related to minecraft no real way arounf it unless you use a proxy or phproxy. If those are blocked ur boned.

I used to use my computer as a proxy, but eventually they caught on to it so blocked my IP... So I just change it :)

oh the days of highschool using a proxy a week to go on youtube and myspace...
 
lol ... never had to use proxy in highschool ... everything was always available to us --- even porn. Maybe it's a canadian thing ;)
 
You'd be suprised.........scared...............scarred by what proxy technology my school uses. It'll blow your mind..

http filters
rogue executable detection
search word filtering
port 80 ONLY open
new proxies last only 3 hours before they are blocked
school account login mandatory for both wireless and wired

Any attempt at bypassing any of those filters will result in your student number being sent down to the school board and sent back to the Network Administrator stationed at each school and he WILL block your account resulting in you having a nice little chat with vice principals who will DEVOUR your souls.

But alas, the site isnt on the filters yet so i wont complain, enjoy your day.

why would they do that? XP SP2 is sooo insecure... and you cant control it the same way you can even XP SP3 with active directory.
