I'm leaving the country tomorrow and MineCon awaits my arrival!

I'm planning on bringing back as much Minecraft stuff that can fit in the luggage. Why? So I can give it all away as fabulous prizes and merchandise for events that await our community!

I'm also getting hundreds of Minecraft Addicts business cards made to litter around. Wooo! Commander, I'm working on the design tonight and they're getting printed tomorrow. If you're around tonight, let's talk. I should be around, message me or something.

If anyone has any questions they would like to ask Notch, now's your chance, not like I'll be able to get more then 30 seconds with the guy, but who knows.
 
Ask him if he can improve support for less powerful computers by making more options to toggle fancy things on and off.
Also ask him if he could put in a classic mode or something, like Survival, Creative and Hardcore, but classic wouldn't have the giant mushroom biomes and the enchanting and stuff... I suppose it'd have to be coded into the map seed generation, and have to be a separate option from Survival/Creative/Hardcore.

Sweet Jangles, be sure to pick up plenty of mc swag for yourself too tho! The business cards look really cool too commander, it'll be awesome to have some slick looking business cards to show everyone who the BEST minecraft server is.
 
these are just concepts for jangles to use if he wants. he can put whatever he wants on the back of them.

You'll be witnessing the beginning of the apocalypse on 11/18 so be sure to take pictures, theyll be the only things you'll be seeing when everythings in flames.

Commander, these are awesome, but I'm afraid the full colour would make my guy freak out. I'll email now and see, hold up, EDIT: he's cool and wants the design first and we'll go from there. One requirement is CMYK colour model. Could you fade the bottom 1/3 to white so the black text stands out? Here's what I'm thinking for the text. Slogan okay? lol. I was going to suggest we all think about this one, but in the interest of time this is what I came up with after a good 5 minutes of thought... I like it! Goes with addiction... Let me know if you've got any ideas.

By the way, I'm using the IP, because people are still not accustomed to entering a domain as a server address. Peer1 doesn't change IP's and I'm not planning on switching hosts.
 
Ah, let me pic which one while we wait for the card guy to let me know if the colour is okay. One sec let me look again.
 
I'm not too fond of the pics above to be used for the cards. The logo is nice, but it's too much text, and I like the Minecraft Addicts text at the top so that stays. The word spleef is just to weird to put on a card lol, sorry. Great structure though. What if we use the standard steve? That, or top shot of a town or busy area, or something very specific to Minecraft Addicts that fits. I looked at all of the pics I've got and can't really think of anything. I'll keep looking. The bottom 1/3 will be white bg, no gradient.

Front is good, back is expensive ($). Can we go white bg black text except for the logo text?

Change logo text to:

Can you align server IP and Website vertically so the : meet? :) that is all! We have to watch the text because these cards need to last, so I made just a couple of changes.

Hey Jangles, I don't suppose I'd be able to have like 5 sent to me as well if I sent some monies to cover printing costs + UK delivery? Would be sweet to have a few of them!
 
Yen, absolutely. I'll order more. No limit. I don't know how much these are going to cost yet. I'm getting 200. Don't worry about cost if you hand some of the out :).
