After over one year of planning, development, testing, deployments, and maintenance, we can finally say we're ready for release. As of right now, we're running Minecraft 1.0! I can't believe how many of you stuck around for the whole beta ride. Cheers to the best Minecraft community and server on the net!

This is the second phase of three launches that are planned to take course.

Update your clients to Minecraft 1.0!

There will be small changes and bugs within the game. Please post your bugs in the Minecraft 1.0 Bug List thread.
- Experience orbs are currently disabled due to server crashing bugs
- Pistons are... enabled!
- Multiworlds!
- New website? Absolutely, it's been in the works for months. Get ready :)

Multiworlds will have several different sections including nether, a new building area, the historic area (what you build in now) and some other stuff.

Wow. The full release went pretty fast. Not just the server updating, but Minecraft being in it's final stage. It feels a little wierd looking at it now, and still remembering the last alpha version. Minecraft Addicts has come a long way since I joined in January due to the hard work of the admins, so I must say, thank you for creating a wonderful and safe server to play on.
 
mind our dust... sounds like a ripoff from something.. can't place my finger on it though
