Minecraft 1.9

Hello Addicts,

We're working on updating the server to 1.9 which is currently undergoing testing on our dev server (port 25567).
If anyone would like to help during this phase then please post your in game name below and we'll add you to the whitelist.

Please be aware that due to numerous API changes in 1.9 a few plugins have been put out of action and we're working to update them or replace them entirely.


PvE and Nether Will be resetting when we update to 1.9 so please remove any valuables you wish to keep.

- /fly is still active when switching worlds from build/historic to the survival worlds of pve/nether.
I am unable to use the command /fly in pve/nether as it should be, but I am still able to fly if I have it active in the build worlds.

- Submitting a [/pw go] command may not take on the first try, instead may take up to 3 times of initiating command to warp me. Seems to happen when private warping to a separate world.

Potions/Water Bottles in inventory turning into the pink/black squares, losing effects in the process. *EDIT* I am still able to drink it, so it isn't all that broken.

This can happen with certain version changes, last time I remember it was leaves that changed to the pink/black thing. Try making new potions and seeing if any of them go the same. (They shouldn't.)

Yeah, now I remember it happening on my SP world when 1.8 came out. I realized that this should probably go into the Mojang bug tracker about 5 minutes ago.

I'm not playing on the 1.9 server, and I found a pink/black square in my inventory. it was a wooden slab, and I don't know where it came from.

Have you placed it down? If so, what tool did it seem to be "favored" by? it may be one of the old slabs, that needed a pick to break, but I don't know how that could've gotten in 1.8...

I know! I prolly used an axe to break it. When it was in my inventory it was called a Wood Block and looked square, pink and black plaid. When I placed it, it looked like a normal oak slab.

There seems to be an issue in 1.9 with chunk performance and world loading which seems to lag the entire server when chunks are loaded.
I've changed a few things which should have sorted the problem for now.


Fly remaining active on world change seems to be a permissions problem so we'll have to wait for that to be fixed.
