i listen to pretty well everything, except for the beatles, tom petty, and the red hot chili peppers. i absolutely cannot stand those 3 bands

Oh, and the red hot chili peppers drummer looks exactly like Will Ferrell.

So I figured I'd try to revive one of the older, but in my opinion, one of the best threads.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Infected Mushroom. I haven't seen anyone mention them here, but I have a feeling a lot of people will like their stuff. I recommend Becoming Insane, Artillery, or Heavyweight . These are all songs I've found I like from the different styles they have, so if you don't like one, do give another listen.

I also just saw Disturbed, Godsmack, Machine Head, Megadeth, All Shall Perish, and some other guys I don't remember a few days ago, and it was awesome. Godsmack rocked the place, if you're not familiar with them, give them a listen too. Maybe I'll throw up some of the videos I took.

I've always been a huge fan of Andrew Bird.

Recently just started listening to Opeth as well (two totally unrelated genres). XD

Wow, from Andrew Bird to Opeth. Well done.

Seattle, that sounds like it would have been one hell of a show. I dig most of those bands (especially Machine Head) and it's always a treat to get the opportunity to see Mr.Mustane live. I'll try to remember to check out Infected Mushroom (though I'm not big on the band name).

Oh. My. God. Listening to Infected Mushroom's Becoming Insane, then Psycho (first two songs that came up in YouTube {edit: I might've tldr'd a little since I see those in your post now xD})...

I'm pretty sure this is an instant addiction. Some of their music reminds me in a slight way of Aesthetic Perfection. Another one I quite enjoy is Nachtmir and AutoXie[2].

I've always been a huge fan of Hardstyle Shuffle style music (Melbourne Shuffle to be more precise). Some of these might be easier to listen to if you clip some of the intro parts... long intros bug me. <.<

Fair warning, some of this bass is extremely hard. So, you'll probably want a really good bass system. :D

On a side note, I'll throw Shpongle in there too. Not so bassy, but full of hallucination-inducing goodness.
