Before I suggested a Hoarde event where all players go into a no PVP arena but an op who hosts the event spawns various hoardes of mobs. Every 5 levels the op would change something in the arena like using worldedit to make the walls lava. The last people remaining would get some prize when all levels are done. This would be extremely popular here. The problem suggested by a staff member before is the lag. But i have found people with literally hundreds of sheep in their farms and it didnt put a dent in the server. 50 zombie pigmen wouldnt do anything, and many players would be in the same area so there wouldnt even be as many chunks loaded. Another bonus for this would be a community contest to design the arena.

You wouldnt need anything special to do this, just what already is on the server.

Well however they do it (if they do), I think it's an amazing idea. I looked into the plugin chdsbd speaks of and it looks SWEEEEET.

Sadly MCA isn't a democracy. However I think the plugin could help bring in more players, and more donations. Admins?

If the command blocks are enabled and you have access to creative you could build something like the TF2 thing yourself.
All the Ops need to do then is turn on pvp in a worldguard region.

What's the point in spending the time just to copy someone else's work. Also many parts of the map require MC Edit, therefor they must be transfered in using World Edit. So it is impossible to recreate by hand on this server.

It is just a fun idea for the server that doesn't take that long to implement.

Awesome on mobile will revisit this post when at home. From what's been said sounds interesting.

What I meant is not that you copy the entire thing, but make your own map that works the same way as the TF2 thing.
Also, what I am wondering is what you think you need MC edit or World Edit for... You can build anything by hand.

They way that this map was made utilized MC Edit to create things like custom maps to use as pictures. Also command blocks require the use of admin commands to spawn in such as /give. Most custom maps utilize WorldEdit/MC edit.
I think that this could be a quick addition to the server.

"Only players with sufficient privileges to use the 'give' command: /give <player_name> 137 can obtain the block. Furthermore, only players, which are in the Creative mode and are also an Operator on the server, are able to edit and successfully save the command of the block. To be able to use this block in Multiplayer, you have to set the value of enable-command-block to true in the server.properties file. If this line doesn't exist, you'll have to add it. "
