Working on a network of interconnected trees inspired by the EverQuest 1 city of Kelethin. I've completed one, and I'm making good progress on the second. The first is a tall, slender birch, the second is a frumpy ocean-dweller. In the end, there will be 7 or 9, all as unique as I can make them. Each takes about 1500-2500 blocks of wood, and about as many leaves as well.
I still need to do the roots under the waterline. This tree is 64 blocks high, and roughly 12x20 at the bole's thickest point. Will also be adding vines on the underside portion.

The bridge will come off the left side, and sweep down until it skims the water before rising to the next tree.

I placed glowstone among the leaves to give it some interesting lighting at night.

Just a quiet place to catch up on your reading...

This tree is 61 blocks high, and 7 wide along the bole.
