Here's some new banner images, what do you guys think about them?
Not all of them are perfect, but I think they'd work out fine.

Three more banners, one of them took me two to three in-game days to get to the right spot, load the chunks and get the lighting right, guess which one.

EDIT: I just tried them all out as banners using Chrome's inspect element to change the image and I have to say some look pretty good if I may say so myself.

The bottom one, there was no way to get to the same positionn as the one that was used for the original banner so I had to climb a lightpost and jump off taking the screenshot in mid-air. Best part was looking for a right angle with 11 fps.
 
you also need to take a course on photography...your angles are horrendous...
 
Why not just make banners of different builds, I don't understand adding pretty much the same ones with shaders.
Shaders make some builds look way too bright to the point where they lose their minecraft feel.

I've been asking people if they want screenshots taken, but not everyone responds and half of those that do have something ugly in front of the build :/
If you can help me find some good builds I'll do it.

Some of those angles were pretty hard to reproduce but I decided to try and stick to the originals a bit.

Also, in response to kking as well, not every place is as easy to take a screenshot off. I don't have perms to build everywhere so I gotta find ways around that, plus the fact that there are almost always things in the way when I find a good angle for the build AND I gotta take into account that I have to crop the picture to the right size, so I have to take the screenshots so that you can see the entire build and so that the top or the bottom isn't horribly cropped out. It's not as easy as normal screenshots are.

I did take screenshots of a number of different builds if you hadn't noticed. I will add more if I see more builds that would fit in a banner.

As for lighting, I do take a ton of screenshots for most of the builds, I just wait one or two minecraft days, sometimes even three, to get good lighting and a reasonable angle. If one of these banners feels off and you think different lighting could fix it, please do tell me as I'll be more than happy to check if I have any screenshots taken during other times of the day, and if not I can go back to the spot and check it out.

I'm using the faithful texture pack, which is basically the same as default, but with more HD.
EDIT: I just noticed in at least 7 of the current banners the default or the faithful texture pack weren't used, not a huge deal as far as I can see, but that's just my humble opinion.




Guys, keep in mind these banners are just suggestions. I don't expect all of them to be used, if any at all, I'm just posting them here as suggestions and looking for constructive feedback on them.
There's a few I really like and a few I'm sort of meh about, but if you guys tell me what I can do to improve them it'd really help me out.

Website header backgrounds

I posted this a long time ago, but I think it may be a good time to post it again.
I took some screenshots of the same buildings currently in the header backgrounds from about the same locations, and some other stuff, with shaders turned on.

If you guys want you can use it for the banners/header, if not, oh well.
