Hello! Deutsch here.

I am creating a new promotional house program in Capitol City, MCAR. It is a custom house program. Each house will be very similar in space, with an estimated 100-200 square blocks, and will be taking preferences on what you want in the house. From a large bedroom, to modern style, to near the metro area, list what you want and I'll make it. Each house will cost 300 caps each.

Thanks!

- Chase

Please include a preferred location (i.e. near a park, near metro area, rural area), space you want, style (modern, apartment, detatched, etc), and interior details on needed space/rooms.

Anyone who buys will be added to the plot and each house will have furnaces, a storage room, crafting table, and a gift in one of the chests. ^

*cough*
No selling/renting land: We give claims out for free for a reason, don't try to charge other users to build on your claim.
*cough*

It's with the purchase of the house, didn't mean to charge for perms. I'll give away perms for free... just letting people know you get perms when buying the house.

That is covered in the rule.
If you're selling the house, at no point can you ever reclaim a house that you've sold.

Hence the creation of the rule to start with.

I'm still confused as to why such a cheap house is 300 caps.

Obviously you're selling land and just saying that perms is a benefit of buying the home, and each home should cost no more than 30 caps. So why so expensive?

Seems like selling perms to me..

Whatever way you want to look at it you're selling access to your claim with a house for storage or "living" purposes.

If you want a way around it then simply offer to build houses for people on their own claim and the price includes material costs and labour costs. So technically you'd be getting paid to work for someone on a particular project rather than selling off parts of your land claim with houses.

OK... So can I sell houses and not give away perms? Just as a symbol, or storage space?

You can build them houses on their land claims and charge for labour and materials...

You can't sell real estate. Period.

"don't try to charge other users to build on your claim."

Interpreted here as don't charge for people for privileged access to your claim.

Think about if everyone did what you're trying to do here. There can't be a real estate market, because you (as the owner of a claim) cannot subdivide a claim, and that there is no foolproof way to prove ownership. All the burden of managing this mess ultimately falls on the staff, so that's why there's this rule.

You can build them houses on their land claims and charge for labour and materials...
That isn't against the rule, I suggest you try that.
