Nintendo 3DS

I just bought one the other day and bought Ocarina of Time for it as well. I'm loving the system, the features of it are just nuts and extras it comes with are really neat. Have any of you bought one or are any of you planning on buying one?

I don't think this belongs in the community section but I did go to see the preview of the 3DS and got to play this a bit. I thought it was amazing... But alas my birthday was the day after the release in Europe and I haven't got the funds to get it.

And when I do get funds I shall pitch a donation here first. Then I'll get the 3DS.

I'm a big fan of portable nintendo. I went through 2 DS's and a DS lite. Is the 3DS a big jump? How different is the gaming? I would rather wait longer for better gaming and graphics, unless the 3DS did that.

I heard Nintendo is bringing out a new version of the 3DS. They claim they've fixed a lot of the problems the current version has with giving people headaches and only being able to view the 3D at a certain angle.

Personally I think it's a gimmick and their lack of original games is disappointing. Ocarina of time? Really? I guess Mario Kart is next and maybe some Pokemon games.

The 3DS has more of the gyro stuff implemented, and of course it has the touch screen inclusions for the maps and inventory.

I mainly got the 3DS because I like the idea of taking old games that I played as a kid with me anywhere on the road.

my good old ds phat is still working fine after 6 years

nice heavy and big, plays better then ds lite
