Pictures in signature

Ok, I cant figure out how to do this. I want to put a picture in my signature. I know how to, but it wont let me do it. I have made sure it is under 500X100 pixels, and under 9kb. When I press the "insert signature picture" button, it does nothing. Any ideas?

I guess I can add to this thread...how do I change the profile picture? I thought I could do it from My Profile section however there doesn't seem to be a spot to do it. I don't use forums that much so if I am missing a step please let me know. TKS.

Once you're logged in to Minecraft Addicts, click on the button in the top right that says "Notifications" then click Inbox. This will open the private info page. On the left is a menu with tons of options. Under MY PROFILE is the option to EDIT AVATAR and EDIT PROFILE PICTURE. Boom shacka lacka.
