Questions about shears

I just wanted to ask 2 questions about shears when we update to 1.7

1) Will they be unlimited like other tools?

2) Can we get them with /kit tools?

Most likely they can be made infinite like other tools, although you will probably have to make them for yourself (like gold tools)

I think they should be made, not be given in the kit.

Yeah definitely make yourself. I think the /kit should be the essentials. Though this is off topic, perhaps higher ranks could allow more kits? Just a thought

I vote same as astra, make em but have em infinite for the usage. large projects that involve a LOT of leaves would be hugely helped by the infinite usage, for example. /kit tools, IMO, should remain the essentials.

but couldnt it be argued that shears are essential in order to get wool and leaves? You could just kill sheep for the wool, but i think notch and jeb eventually want to stop animals from despawning and spawning so often, which is going to suck becuase wool is already hard to come by.

Shears may be "essential" but they're extremely easy to make. I vote make them yourself, and have them be infinite.

theyre not exactly essential, for example, in a noobs case:
axe: needed for quick gathering of wood, a basic building material.
pickaxe: needed for ANY gathering of stone/ores, which are staples in minecraft.
shovel: needed for clearing land without taking a day to do so, which clears the way for nice builds, which make the server look good.

wool isnt really a basic building material IMO. just my two cents
