raised cloud height in historic

Hello Addicts
I have noticed something.
In cloud city, before clouds were going between the glass and dirt layer.
But now the clouds are going over the buildings.
That is approx. 20 blocks higher.
I noticed this and as far as I know I did not touch my settings and raise the clouds.
So is it just me or are the clouds really raised?
and if they are, why or how is that?

This was done a long time ago. I believe it was changed in Minecraft 1.2 when they changed the height limit.

Yeah when they raised the block limit, they raised the clouds too so it would make more sense.
