I was lurking around my normal sites and i found this youtube video of 1.8 showing the enderman mob of 1.8.

Another rumour is, is that the 1.8 is available somewhere so if you REALLY want to try this...good luck finding it
 
Wewt! I can't wait until we have those mobs!

Problem here is that notch has said that the endermen teleport within your sight, and only go aggressive when you hit them with your crosshair. I question the legitimacy of this vid.
 
stupid. really dumb... i recognize the whispering audio from a horror film cant remember witch... and he doesnt ever watch it move other than when he looks away... so its obvious its a modded guy and yea usually the version number isnt visible anymore.

From notch's blog:
As long as you look straight at them, they stand perfectly still and look straight at you. As soon as you look away, they will run (very fast) towards you.

And they teleport. If they’re too far away to reach you in a short period of time, they will teleport about once per second. They try to make sure they always teleport to somewhere you can see, as I don’t want to confuse the player as to what is happening.

notch never said that they will teleport within your sight.
 
I thought that notch removed that 'Minecraft Beta' thing in the top left corner...
but still pretty cool, cant wait for 1.8!
