Well I have no idea how to get back to this 1.3 update to play on our server.
This makes me incredibly sad as I had just got my land ready to build on and
just got back from my New York vacation...
Anyone have an idea when the server will work on 1.4?

I have read that. I can't figure it out. This thread was to tell everyone I won't be on till the server works on 1.4.
Thanks anyway

Short run through for you then.
Download the minecraft.jar from the thread godspeedz linked you to.
Press the windows key + r
Type %APPDATA% into the window and click ok. Go into your .minecraft folder and into bin.
Rename your current minecraft.jar and place the one you downloaded into there.

Open minecraft and away you go, remember not to update again just switch files when you want to change version.

- MAC (replace your name with your name): /Users/(yourname)/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin

Google it.

Dude apologies if you're already doing this but you are renaming the minecraft 1.3.jar file to just minecraft.jar right?

In a finder window, look for library (or your user name, library would be in that folder). Inside library look for Application Support, then "minecraft" should be in there. Inside that you'll find the bin and thats where the .jar is located.

Is that working for you? If not let us know :)

Like alien mentioned, I'm on a Mac as well. Feel free to ask any questions, it may seem a little confusing, but it's really quite simple once you understand what you're doing :)

Good luck!
