Hello Jesse here, and i have a suggestion. Recently i posted a couple screen shots and well... people don't take kindly if you place it in the wrong section of the forums.

Now i know there is the "Funniest thing you saw today" section, but you can't really post a informing/funny screenshot(s) and get a reply of peoples thoughts.

So here is my pitch: I believe that making a section called "Screen Shots" then as the description perhaps say something along the lines of this "Post your funny, informative or interesting screen shots".

I believe this is a good idea because, when somebody puts a screen shot in the wrong place others get quite offended for some odd/silly reasons. People say to post Screen Shots in the Misc. section, but i don't think we should spam that section with screen shots.

& If you're a certain bunch of people (you know who you are) you will enjoy this idea because you reamed me when i posted a screen shot in the wrong place.

Remember I mentioned the "spam" section in my original post which seems to have sparked a flamewar?
Try posting there for now until an OP comes along with a final answer, you can find the section under the Misc section near the top of the page.

Thanks for not taking it too hard and actually leaving like you said earlier you might do.
I have nothing against you personally, lets clear that up.

I posted all those screenshots in one thread, not a single thread per screenshot.
Plus the fact that I am offering to take screenshots for people, which is why I believe it belongs in the community section.

If Jesse posted his screenshots in one thread I would have been fine with it.

Honestly though, people are making such a huge friggin' deal out of one piece of advise I gave Jesse.
Please stop friggin' harrassing me over that advice and stop bringing the subject back up everytime I tell people to stop about it.
I'm starting to feel that it's not even about Jesse anymore, Fista's just going after me now with the sole purpose to declare everything I post as spam in every single thread I post. I can't make a single post/thread without someone telling me not to post and it's really starting to friggin' piss me off. Grow up and get lost, I'm not the worst person that Jesse could meet online, I only gave him advice.

P.S. I had to go back over this post twice because of the language, yes, that's how much you guys are starting to piss me off.

The way you type things are hard to read as advice, more as a command.
Also what I see happen now is that you do not offer to take screenshots for people, but you shove it in their face to make screenshots for them.

What you can think about is making a thread where people can go and ask you to make screenshots.
I have seen instances of people making screenshots, and you replying if you can make screenshots for them.
Personally I would find this very annoying.
Shader mods is new for you (I have been introduced to them 1.5 years ago), but most of my own screenshots are in vanilla just because I like that more.
Why you offer this is because YOU like screenshots with shaders more.
What this is starting to feel like for me is an annoyance because of your preference not everyone shares.
Making this a service = ok
Asking in every thread for people to use this service = annoying

Also if this is starting to piss you off maybe don't look at our action before you take a clear look to your own.

With this I mean that Big_Jesse really didn't try to bother anyone, though well about it and even made a good suggestion. Instead of getting mad because some people are bitching he actually saty back for a moment, thought about what he did and thought about a solution. Whether this will go on or not I really respect the effort he did for this. Maybe you can really take an example from that.

EDIT: And btw, this is the only occasion I offered to take screenshots for someone when it was actually off-topic and not part of the conversation. Please don't exaggerate too much.

once again let me clear this up... i never callled ur stuff spam or anyone's stuff spam (that was you assault).. i merely made a observation that you were clearly posting more picture threads then jesse was now. something u obviously dont like since u gave jesse a hard time about it and called his post spam. your two post do have some of the same pictures so in that sense you could call it spam, but again not my choice as to whats spam on the forums and whats not.. same as its not your place to call anyone elses stuff spam.. even more so when your guilty of posting random picture threads too! now quit putting words in my mouth please! i think u still dont get it assault.. it was never ur place to even ask jesse to post his stuff in the spam section. hopefully that clears it up for you.

oh and i think its a cool idea jesse.. why not have a section for random screenshots of our Servers. would be a great place for new addicts to go and look at some of the random crazy funny stuff we do here at the addicts

jesse would be great. we did have a system like that once upon a time. it was a gallery plugin on the site. has all sorts of useless screenshots in it.

now that system is not active at the moment due to issues with the plugin not being up to date with the forum version we currently run.

new gallery would be great to use. as most of you know ive been quite busy so havent had time to upgrade all systems of the website. so a gallery app would work and wouldnt get threads and topics like this.

ill put it in my list of web fixes.

now lets all stop argueing over this and that. if you are posting an image with no text to help explain it please post it in the spam section because its more inside joke and we dont understand.

relivant multi image posts that have accompanying text that explains itself is not spam. assaults threads are relevant threads at this time.

Aaaaaanyways I talked to Fista on the server today and we managed to put aside our differences. Apparently there were a number of things causing us to missinterpret eachother and I hope that I speak for both of us that next time we'll try and keep discussions to a minimum.
