Secure Forum Section

So, I wouldn't mind posting some photos to share with you all... but there's a bit of a privacy issue I have with the constant stream of noobs and unknown people signing up on the site and joining the server.

Could members that have been active say ... 8+ months or so get access to a secure section so that if you do want to share something personal say, a story about family or such -- we could feel a bit more comfortable knowing only the core members have access to it.

Seems like a bit of a pain to manage, but I get what you're saying.
Don't remember what options vbulletin had for making secure forums but I'm pretty sure the only option would be to make a group and manually add people to it using filters.

Keeping the list of people up to date would be the main concern i suppose.

groups and freinds on personal profiles is the way to go

you can add people as people you trust and then they would have access to more information this I believe was available last time I think it still is?

I think there are still a few permission problems for the forums.
When I was grouped as an RM, I had no access to create groups to view but I'm sure the forum friends option still works.

When attempting to invite RMs to join a private group, I get the message "this user may not join groups."
