Seems that Minecraft.net is down at the moment.

Not sure if it is due to Irene, but at 2:34 CST (3:24 EST) I have not been able to log into the server due to Minecraft.net

It was false for 10 minutes. Apparently during that time, the site came up for about a min...then went offline.

It looks online now though.
