Server restarting

I have no idea about whom to contact regarding this matter, nor where to post about this.

We (people in the server) would appreciate it if the server could be restarted, so the horrific lagging and crashing would stop. it have been going on for 2 hours now, and I am seeing a duplicate of myself in the server after reconnecting.

Have you considered a regular reboot of the server?
CityCraft used to do this, and it seemed to work ok.

Once per hour seems excessive and disruptive.
