Hey guys, im gonna be making a timelapse of me making a roman city, themed to my KOA arena. I will be using my account The_Real_Yennage to record me all this saturday clearing my whole historic plot, and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a free or cheap (less then 50$) recording program good for this.

Thanks for your time,

Cool thanks, but if I buy fraps it will record for however long I want right? cause in the free version it would stop every 3 minutes or so. Also having my two accounts up in historic is no problem right?

Fraps is definitely the best screen-recorder hands down through my own personal experiences.

most normal people use fraps.. the free version has a limit on it. remember fraps also hogs hard drive space so getting a good video converter is good too

with both fraps and dxtory you can take pictures with a preset interval too
with that you greatly reduce the amount of space on your hdd as well as the strain on your pc

Definitely going to consider this one. I always had the urge to purchase fraps and make super awesome videos and stuff.

If you want to make a really fast timelapse I would just use the minecraft Camera Studio Mod. Just download the recording plugin too. It works alright from what I have tried.

I have both fraps and bandicam. Either are great but I prefer bandicam as I am lazy and terrible with video editors. Fraps does take quite a lot of memory, so it's best to get a decent vid converter if you want to have any space left on your computer. And yeah torrents are the quickest and cheapest way to get them
