from now on i think that whenever ANYBODY tts's on vent (text to speak) will get banned for a duration of time no mater who it is or what they say.
the duration is up to the admin/member present.

yes this is in effect at all times as of now. even if no admin is on. any text to speak will be a 1 day ban minimum 8 hour ban.
 
Wait a second, what's going on here. I leave TTS turned on so I can hear what coffee is saying when he can't get his microphone. What's this supposed ban for? Sending TTS through the audio chat channel?
 
Thanks edge, but I don't know how to use TTS atm (although I'll look into it). As for banning, I think muting would be sufficient unless the person is deliberately trying to be offensive (instead of just annoying), regardless whether they're using TTS or not. If anyone finds somebody offensive, please tell me either in a PM here, or a /msg on the mc server. I'll give the person one warning and then a ban if they continue.

As for TTS and annoying people, I'll mute them (I'll check out how) for a certain duration, and every subsequent offense will have consequence of longer duration and eventually ban. Does this sound good?
 
yea coffee that sound quite good. the tts does get overwhelming at times when people have alot of them hotlinked and use them to anoy people to the point of mute.

if your in vent and cant talk like recon and coffee at the moment type in the mc server since we are usually all on there.
 
Oh, I get it now.

If that's the case, Jangles would get a ban last night, I think.
 
ya i usually type in MC Chat but i was just fooling around and having fun last night, sorry if i might of offended someone but i was honestly just joking around.
