I got an E 74 error awhile back on my 360. Common thing with older Xboxes.
I took it apart. Got stumped with this on my desk, not having the right tools to get some small star screws out.
With brute force and 5634.2 litres of WD-40, I got the screws out and proceeded to use the hairdryer on it for a few minutes. End result:
So glad I was able to fix it, not only because I once again have an Xbox, but because I was actually able to fix something. Big self-esteem boost. woot woot.
