Staff are currently working on our website,
and I want to hear the community's voice to help with rewriting some of the text.
First of all, I welcome any of you to make comments on the current website and share any ideas for changes.

One page I'd like to focus on with this thread, is called "Join Us"

The Join Us page is basically a quick summary of who we are, and what the server is about.
Here's a couple questions to help with the rewrite of this page

1. What does MCA server and community mean for you?

2. What is the best way to tell people about our server and community?

The community to me is the embodiment of the perfect Minecraft server. The community is small but not too small, the people are (mostly) nice, griefing isn't a problem, and the worlds are well organized. The way I would tell people about the server is by listing some of the worlds, some of the plugins, and some of the points I listed above.
 
" Young kids can feel safe online with the great staff and dedicated chat mods "
" A welcoming community you will not see anywhere else "
" This is a place where you can build in peace "
" Come make more Lenorz "

To me, MCA has a really fun, safe community. It was a great idea in the first place, and is the perfect haven for players of all sorts. I for one spent twenty five dollars to get Deutschland63, so I could play here again. And though I made mistakes in the past, the community accepts them and I am not judged by that. MCA has a priceless community and atmosphere no server has had before.

Also, I'm returning from my vaca on October 3rd. Thanks!
 
Can we add a small bit that says when we are most active? Because people sometimes log on expecting a crowd when lots of us are asleep, at school, or doing other things.. just a suggestion.
 
I realized I should answer my own questions:

1. What does MCA server and community mean for you?
For me MCA means my online friends, people who I'm eager to share time and minecraft with.
I like the mix of worlds we have, I like fact that many of our staff are among the most active players on the server,
and we have some of the best minecraft builders I have seen on any server.
Also I think it's amazing that this server is among the oldest minecraft servers online, and has probably the oldest map in minecraft,
historic world. I know there is potential for Minecraft Addicts to grow and grow just like a Deku tree

2. What is the best way to tell people about our server and community?
I'd say voting. voting, and more voting.
Also I try to let anyone who is a friend, and who is interested in art or design, know about minecraft addicts.
I feel it's not just letting everyone know about MCA, but also making an effort to find people who are into Art and Design.

Minecraft Addicts is what I believe Minecraft should be.

A place to build and share our community

A place to set goals (collecting resources, caps etc)

A place to make friends

And a place to have fun fighting sometimes but with no turn away consequences.
