For old times sake we have archived the forums to keep bot spam down and keep the original history of the server archived for future players to browse. Why dont we melt that ice around the pvp town?

AS u might already know, there is a ring of ice around the floating island with the portal and shops,
formed due to a biome glitch.

This makes getting off a lot more dangerous, and u are usually forced to go down via waterfall.

I personally think it is a bit wrong to die of extreme fall damage, when in a safe zone.

SO what we could do, is use torches or glowstone to melt the ice.

This way, less people will die via falling when they jump out for the first time.
 
Once the new map format is implemented into a stable build and the server is updated, we shouldn't have any more problems with biomes, and biome shifting. Until then, just be careful when jumping down
 
yes, but that will be in a while. lets just place some light source to get rid of it NOW.
