Golden Apple found in chest for no Reason / Herobrine to blame?

I was checking out 1 of chests when I found a GOLDEN APPLE in it! I was so surprised I was yelling ( aka in caps) OMG THRER IS A GOLDEN APPLE IN MY CHEST! People started saying it was herobrine , the famous expressionless "player" with no pupils. I need 2 know , was it HIM, or an admin? I need answers?!
 
I highly doubt it was herobrine and if so nobody could prove it. As for an admin doing it i'm not to sure about it either unless one of our admins were being very nice to you. Ask an admin to see who has tried to acess your chest
 
Here's what the FACTS are
1 I was kidding about herobrine , I know he's not real.
2 there WAS a golden apple in one of my OWN chests.
3 The only person who could access my chests are admins or hackers, hackers the worst .
4 IT happened when I was alone there was NOBODY to put it in 4 me then leave.
 
Please realize I am perfectly fine wIth the apple , I'm concerned about chest safety . if ur the one eho put it in Thank you. , but next time give it to me the old fashioned way, giving it 2 me in person.

admins will not take it. And if it is stolen, just ask another admin to check the logs of who was last inside the chest.
 
Who would hack a chest , just to GIVE something to me, when it would be easier to , oh , I don't know , Give it to me in person?
If they wanted it to be a surprise they could at least ask me to allow him intoy chest. Rational idea. I stll like the apple though...
 
If You suspect someone is accessing your chests without permission then do a /getpos on the chest and post in the reports forum

Just to be sure you didn't already have one in there or gave anyone else access?

tigger already checked it for him. nobody else accessed the chest except for Androcks.
 
Why would a hacker want to give someone a golden apple, a hacker would empty the chest
 
No , I never give anyone access, so I'll be able to know who did it. Thanks, the mystery can be solved!

I just can not find who did it... but im wondering if it really matters.
 
I started throwing random strange items into some unprotected chests a while back <_>
but I've never even had a golden egg
