we honor our d-day with a really awesome video. watch in 720p for best quality! enjoy!

p.s. if theirs spelling mistakes... deal with it... spell check failed maybe.

Nice video..
Can't believe i missed this :(
And now i can't wait for the next one ! :D

What an awesome time it was, you should send a mass email at least to donators and land owners when the next one is due, this cant be missed, must be shared, Thank you..

Oh and I love the fact that my red diner and coke machine in Area 51 is captured in the video screenshot!! :O

an email was sent out. however many users thought we had updated and tryed to log in only to find we were in the process of updateing and were still in 1.3 at the time.

More text at the start of the video than most people's attention span.
I suggest we put less text at the start of the videos.

Looks great Fluffy! Too bad I was reinstalling my OS that day.

Just gonna chime in with my marketing $.02 on the messaging. I agree, keep it short. If it takes more than 15 seconds (arbitrary number) to get to the destruction, we'll lose people.

As for the intro text:

"D-day: one day of safe, legal griefing and PvP while the server is updated to the latest version."
"All of the destruction you see occurred in one day, and the world was restored from backup the next day"

I'd also suggest that we eliminate references to "overdue upgrades" and "fixing the server". It makes it sound worse than it really is.

May be too late to put it in the video, but I'll throw it out here either way. Thanks for putting this together!

P.S. Spawn Restaurant. :)

I agree 100% with the points mentioned here.

Either way, helluva-job, Fluffy!
