We've decided that the factions world (currently called survival) will have a separate inventory.

This change will take effect on Monday, January 30.

what do you mean by this. as in like creative. you cant take things out of or into survival?

I have the same questions. Is survival and faction world inventory synced, or are both of them separate? Or is just survival synced the the main worlds?

we mean the factions world that is currently called survival will have its own inventory just like creative.

pve will stay the same.

The reason behind this is to stop people from killing users stealing there stuff and then hidding it in a world where that user cant fight to get it back.

If you want your dimond armor you better bring it over to the factions world because soon you will not be able to.

I think this will reduce the already low level of users that actually play PvP/PvE...

Quick aside: PvE will not be affected by this, it is exclusively the factions world Survival. As lofp said, the aim is to prevent users taking stuff and simply stashing it safely in build world and should therefore level the playing field by removing the advantage people with landclaims in build had over exclusive survival players.

Hope this helps answer your query

as for factions and pve this will not decrease the ammount of users in those worlds. they are the most chatty at the moment anyways.

I support this change. It would be awesome to have personal chests that other faction members cant access too, unless the leader kicks you out.

What about monthly "transfer days", as in once a month (or other period of time), users would be able to take stuff to/from survival? Just an idea, because for myself, the main allure to pvp is killing people for loots to use in historic/build.

factions, pve and build all have the same terrain generation.

The only fallible thing to transfer would be loot from mobs.

loot from mobs can be taken from pve
i think separate inventories for suvival is good, i like it.

I sure know I won't be playing as much in PvP now... I have to start from scratch!

It'd be great if you could set up a sort of system where you can transfer stuff in, at least.
Maybe you could limit the amount of items you can transfer with it to like 3 stacks to go out, but unlimited going in. Now I've got to buy or mine loads of stuff like sponges and diamonds all over again...

I sure know I won't be playing as much in PvP now...

Lots of noobs in February will complain about all the dudes in shining armor in PVP, while they can't bring theirs because they missed the deadline.

At least, until Jan 30th, people will be able to get started in build or PvE, gather ressources.

If I'm a new player, do I really want to start from scratch in PvP while experienced players have all their stuff and weapons?
I can't even sell potions or equipment to the PvP'ers anymore.

IMHO, I'm not against the change, it's just sad for the less experienced players.
It makes it harder on them to start.
The best part is, it promotes faction cohesion.

If we have the opportunity of moving items on certain days, doesn't it counter the idea of the loot being irretrievable?
Doesn't it just makes the actual process longer?

This will make pvp potions almost obsolete. We wont be able to import Netherwart, Glowstone Dust, Etc, or will these become available in the store? Perhaps a 1 to 1 buy/sell ratio would solve this for these items?

We will be making things available in the shop to balance it out.

And at first there will be a big diffrence but over time things will average out.

This will be a hard change but with all the other worlds its one that needs to happen so that things stay fair.

The way it has been for now is:

You have a noob that comes to the server for the first time.

He builds up gets some ore.

He dose not have land any where else so he has all of his ore in pvp.

Some one in pvp kills him takes his stuff and hides it in another world where he can never get it back.

Seniors have land on other map so noobs can never get there stuff back.

With this new system he remebers who killed him. he can rally up or take revenge with some new frnds. and attack them back and if he dose well he could take all of his old stuff back and more.

There is more gain, reward and risk.

Keep every thing on one map and it will be better. harder at first but better over time.

and if your solution is well they should have gotten a landclaim im sorry with the current draconian attitude that some RM are running there regions this is not possible.

Is there going to be a different shop depending on which world you are in?
