We have moved to discord now for a closer community feel. If the server gains a ton more players again like the past the forums will reopen with the original sections archived and locked.

I know, I realized my mistake. The excitement kinda, u know, overrided my thoughts on spelling. Still trying to find notable differences other than redstones now just a dot, not an X anymore. Wonder how MrJangles is doing with those business cards...

Hello!
Alright, here's the skinny. I was going to post my pics but the internet is sooo bad and it's not possible. When I get back...
Overall, it's been a good event, I'm just about to head down for the closing session. But, this is not a very well organized event what so ever. The biggest problem is 5k people packed into small session rooms. Lines for every concession are HOURS long and I won't be bothered. Notch did autographs last night, but I'm very happy I didn't stand in line for 3 hours to get turned down, like the other 1k people did. Notch also had time for questions, so the moderator said "everyone who has a question, please line up behind the mic". Not a good thing to say with a room full of thousands of people. Everyone rushed the mic, but the best part was that they said they only had time for 2 questions after the rush, so the 200 people who rushed the mic got screwed. Oops.
Basically, if you came here to meet anyone on mojang, you're risking lining up for hours only to get cut off. The closest I came to notch was 10 feet, good enough. EDIT: Lots of staff, minus notch, were wondering around but I never ran into them. Meh.
I met the bukkit crew and they're a great crowed. As far as stuff coming in the future for bukkit, no real plans other than continued support.
Notch will also continue to support Minecraft "forever".
Also, let's all give ourselves a pat on the back. I've talked to a lot of people who know of us and that's great to hear. I've met a few server admins and they're all good guys. It's a nice vibe going on.
Scrolls and Cobalt look interesting, but it was mostly a sales pitch and everyone else here would rather they talk more about Minecraft. Typical convention...
Anyway, good times all around, could be better organized. The biggest problem of all is the language barrier. Especially when someone from Mojang kept slipping in "shit!" into his speech, causing the mommies and daddies to freak. lol, oh boy. Q/A, conversation, and interviews are garbage because of it. They'll get better!
